Reading

• Over halfway through The New Better Off by Courtney E. Martin. It's a collection of essays about how the American Dream has transformmed for the most recent generations. A little too happily celebrating things like the gig-economy, the sharing economy, and just our general lack of ownership due to late-stage capitalism and not really anything we're choosing.

Watching

• Rewatching Mad Men - it's too good. Still feels fresh and unique. I feel like each time we come at it, it shows a new dimension, based on our station in life. For example, being a mid-life with a child.
• Last of Us season 2 - wow, what a start to the season. I haven't played the game, but I new the overall story. But still, it was intense.
• Taskmaster season 19 - so excited to see Jason Mantzoukas on the show!

Playing

• Still doing the daily Wordle
• Finished Avowed. I loved being able to explore the Pillars of Eternity world in full, first-person 3D. I went with a mostly guns-based ranger class and it was a "blast".

Doing

• Working on Strong Towns Carmel.
